DESCRIPTION:This summer again\, Kranjska Gora will shine in colours of film. From 26th of July till 4th of August\, KGIFF invites you to discover stories hidden in the world of film. Third edition of the festival is dedicated to Boštjan Hladnik\, the pioneer of Slovenian modernist film\, and a person who left a great mark in the Slovenian film sphere. In a 10-day long and varied festival programme\, the spectators will be able to watch latest international and local documentary and fiction films. Throughout various festival sections covering distinct film genres\, they are invited to look at the corners of the world hidden in an everyday life. KGIFF team has prepared attractive educational programme with workshops and master classes thought by internationally established mentors in the field of directing\, screenwriting\, casting and film production. The brainstorming and consultation phases and the consultations were successfully concluded at our meeting in Ziferblat and the results were presented at the meeting with decision makers in the EU House during the Pride Parade Festival. Our project We are here! We act together.\, catering to LGBTIQ+ youth aged 16 to 30\, is not over yet. \nThe next step is an advocacy training\, happening between 13. – 15. October. SUMMARY:Long - term training of trainers youth workers on hate speech
DESCRIPTION:Transformation of hate speech is a project that will be implemented in cooperation with five European non-governmental organizations from Finland\, Portugal\, Ireland\, Slovenia and Scotland\, and will offer youth workers knowledge about alternative responses to the occurrence of hate speech in the processes of youth work and non-formal education. \nDuring the trainings\, the trainers will develop a training module\, which they will initially test\, as a team\, in their home country and co-create a toolkit for identifying\, solving and transforming hate speech among young people. \nThe first of the three trainings will be held at the M Hotel in Ljubljana between the 24th and 30th of September 2017. Two international training trainings will be held in December 2017 and in the Autumn of 2018 in Portugal. \nLearn more about the Transformation of hate speech project and the trainings at info@ljubljanapride.org.
