It speaks to our capacity as individuals to rise to the occasion\, and to the incredible power of a community coming together with love\, compassion\, and determination.” It won several awards and was nominated for others\, including the Sundance Film Festival. \nSee you soon! \nWith ‘PRIDE CONNECTS’\, we strive to connect the local LGBTIQ+ youth\, activists\, and all those interested in the political side of Pride(s) and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and across the world. We know that being an openly LGBTIQ+ person and walking down any public space is a political act\, and we know it is not easy – so we want to create a safe(r) space for all LGBTIQ+ people and a place of empowerment. \n(The event will be held in English language)

SUMMARY:Seminar training in Ireland
DESCRIPTION:The team of trainers of Ljubljana’s Pride Parade association is preparing for the first seminar training of youth trainers in Ireland\, where they will learn about transformational practices in youth work in the field of non-violent communication\, restorative justice and transformation of hate speech. The seminar will be held between 9th and 16th December and will bring together trainers from Ireland\, Slovenia\, Scotland and Finland. \nThe seminar will be the first step towards the design of a manual for youth workers in the field of Hate Speech Transformation. \nThe project is part of the strategic partnership and is financed by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action program.

The fun will be themed coloured… and you are all invited to dress in your “most kitsch and unpleasant” Christmas sweaters; you can season them with decorations\, accessories\, special shoes\, especially those that you really would not want to wear anywhere else than at the “ugly Christmas sweater party”. \n\nADDITIONAL! You are invited to join the secret tombola of gifts. Bring a little mini-gift\, and certainly nothing that would have a special monetary value.
