DESCRIPTION:While watching Eurovision\, have you ever thought about the importance it has for LGBTIQ+ representation in Europe or the cultural impact it has created? 🤔 \nIn this event we will explore the history of Eurovision and how it has become a show that showcases queer people all around Europe and represents them within the mainstream! 🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈\nWe will discuss transformative acts such as Conchita Wurst’s rise\, Sestre challenging acceptance in Slovenia\, Marija Šerifović’s groundbreaking victory\, Krista Siegfrieds advocating for equal marriage in Finland and Israel’s strategic Pinkwashing.\nEurovision is a colossal cultural diplomacy tool on many levels\, so it’s time to recognize its enduring impact on shaping a more tolerant and diverse European cultural landscape. 🌈✨ \nThis event is for everyone\, whether you’re a seasoned fan or just curious about it. Join us on Thursday\, 18. 1.\, in Legebitra’s Youth Center. DESCRIPTION:Two colleagues will participate in an international partner meeting\, which will be held in Barcelona\, ​​to evaluate the previous steps and plan the next steps within the Rainbow Peer Forces project. In that project the group of rainbow tutors – a group of peer educators of the Pride – has started to develop. Within the aforementioned project\, we are preparing some more resources useful for people who work with young people\, especially related to peer education and supporting young people who take on this role. \nThe implementation of the activity is financed by the European Union.
