DESCRIPTION:We invite you to the open event “European Groups 101”\, which will take place on Saturday\, March 13\, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Brežice Youth Center\nAt this event\, we will delve into the rich history\, values and main goals of European parties. Discover what differentiates them and what unites them as agents of positive change in European society. In addition\, we will investigate the active participation of some parties in defending the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community. At the end\, we will hold an interactive quiz to test the participants’ knowledge of European politics\, and the three best ones will receive special prizes! The event will be held in English.\nWe believe that this event will bring valuable insight and stimulate meaningful discussions about the political situation in Europe\, so we want to bring this knowledge to as many people as possible.

SUMMARY:Volunteer's meetup: In pride and solidarity
DESCRIPTION:IN PRIDE AND SOLIDARITY \nWould you like to hear firsthand in which areas you can contribute to the Ljubljana Pride Association as a volunteer? \nWe invite you to join us on April 16\, 2024\, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the office of the Ljubljana Pride Association\, Dunajska 10\, at an event where we will present the possibilities of joining the European Solidarity Corps program\, as well as this year’s Pride Parade Festival and all the volunteering opportunities we offer at the Ljubljana Pride Association. \nWe will start the event with a two-hour workshop\, which will be followed by a mini online campaign\, in which we will share our experiences with ESE activities and encourage participation in the European Solidarity Corps program and volunteering in general. This will be followed by an exchange of experiences among volunteers\, including current and former members of the association. The talk will also include a presentation of the 2024 Pride Parade Festival and the possibility of short-term ESE volunteering during the Festival. At the end\, we will record short video statements of the volunteers who will be part of the campaign. Join us\, gain new experiences and become part of a community that promotes solidarity and equality!
