Ljubljana Pride Association is looking for volunteers who would like to become guides for LGBTIQ+ tours!

If you are interested in:

• learning more about LGBTIQ+ activism in Ljubljana and Slovenia,
• meeting other LGBTIQ+ young people and building community,
• showing visitors from Slovenia and abroad the rainbow side of the capital …

Who are we looking for?

• Enthusiastic LGBTIQ+ young people interested in leading LGBTIQ+ tours;
• People who enjoy interacting with diverse groups and feel comfortable speaking in front of a group;
• Anyone interested in learning more about the LGBTIQ+ history of Ljubljana.

Not sure what it would look like?

You will always lead the tours in pairs, in either Slovenian or English. Visitors will register for the tours in advance, and each group will have a maximum of 20 people. The tours last two hours.

No previous experience is required, as you will take part in training where you will gain all the knowledge and skills needed to lead the tours! After the application period closes, we will organise a meeting where we will introduce the LGBTIQ+ tours in more detail: what they are, what they look like, our previous experiences, and more. After the meeting, we will head out together on an LGBTIQ+ tour of Ljubljana!
