{"id":5142,"date":"2021-09-21T10:15:37","date_gmt":"2021-09-21T08:15:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pridebckuplocal.local\/iscemo-prostovoljko_ca-za-podporo-pri-socialnih-omrezjih\/"},"modified":"2021-09-21T14:52:28","modified_gmt":"2021-09-21T12:52:28","slug":"iscemo-prostovoljko_ca-za-podporo-pri-socialnih-omrezjih","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.ljubljanapride.org\/en\/iscemo-prostovoljko_ca-za-podporo-pri-socialnih-omrezjih\/","title":{"rendered":"One year (ESC) volunteering opportunity: junior social media officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duration: <\/strong>OCT 2021 &#8211; SEPT 2022&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Where: <\/strong>in Ljubljana, Slovenia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About our organisation: <\/strong>Mainly known as the organisers of the annual LGBTIQ+ parade, Ljubljana Pride Association is a youth-based, anti-racist, feminist, LGBTIQ+ association active all year long, fighting against discrimination of all LGBTIQ+ people and their intersecting identities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You will gain competences in:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Group work<\/li><li>Working in an intercultural environment<\/li><li>Communication, technical and logistical competences<\/li><li>Learning about project management (e.g., how to manage smaller one-day events like exhibitions, workshops and other activities)<\/li><li>Digital competences: use of social media and digital tools<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The project includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fully funded travel and accommodation<\/li><li>Covered food expenses and pocket money<\/li><li>Mentoring and Youthpass certificate<\/li><li>Health insurance for non-Slovene residents<\/li><li>COVID testing for travel purposes<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who for: <\/strong>LGBTIQ+ people with a strong interest in LGBTIQ+ organisations, topics and politics who have previous work or volunteer experience in the field of LGBTIQ+ organising. You are between 18-30 years old and an EU resident.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We specifically welcome LGBTIQ+ youth who are members of different marginalised groups.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a person who has interest in the area of SOCIAL MEDIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You\u2019re LGBTIQ+, sociable and have a proactive attitude<\/li><li>Comfortable with working in office environments and having an office routine<\/li><li>Able to fluently communicate in English<\/li><li>Have previous volunteering or working experience<\/li><li>Active use of social media, especially Instagram and Facebook stories and ADs<\/li><li>Enthusiasm about excel tables and organising \ud83d\ude42&nbsp;<\/li><li>Don\u2019t mind going to the store every 2 weeks&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>General description: <\/strong>You will be included in the daily work and activities of the association. You will be supported by a working coordinator and a mentor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work will be mainly carried out in the office or in the field; due to COVID regulations, occasional working from home is to be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TASKS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporting the social media:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>our social media Communication (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube)<\/li><li>promotion of events<\/li><li>writing content posts&nbsp;<\/li><li>social media coverage of Pride Parade\u2019s events (video and photo coverage, online posting, archiving)<\/li><li>use of professional equipment for video and\/or photo (filming, editing)&nbsp;<\/li><li>Support with organising the Ljubljana Pride Festival 2022<\/li><li>Support with the daily operations in the office (logistical &amp; administrative support)<\/li><li><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Administrative support of the office functioning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ordering and\/or buying materials<\/li><li>Logistics support<\/li><li>Keeping track of post and office costs&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to apply: <\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Send us your CV and tell us why you would like to volunteer with us.
